There appears to be a bug introduced in the 2.1 iPhone OS that is causing the keyboard to not be drawn properly. I am trying to find a workaround, but this may have to wait until Apple addresses it in a future upgrade

The fastest way to find and dial a contact on the iPhone!

SearchDial adds new and timesaving features to help you connect to the person you want:
- Search by Phone Number: Start typing a phone number into the search bar to see contacts that match. If a contact cannot be found, you can dial immediately without having to switch screens or applications.
- AutoFavorites: Automatically tracks your most frequently called numbers and presents them upon startup, ordered by number of calls. You can remove items from this list by swiping horizontally on the item.
- Search for and call a number with the fewest "clicks" possible:
1) After launching the application you are immediately in a search box with the keyboard active
2) Begin typing to search All Contacts by first name, last name, company name or phone number
3) Each contact phone number matching the search is displayed on its own row - just select to dial immediately.
Each Name/Number combination is listed separately to avoid having a intermediate screen to choose the right number to call. Additionally, common types of numbers such as Mobile, Home and Work can have their own configurable colors for a visual way to quickly locate the proper number.

This application is also great for former Treo and Blackberry users who are used to turning on their phone, typing their contact's name, and hitting a button to call.

Notes:
1 - It does not surface up contacts with without phone numbers (it also does not show Fax numbers).
2 - It only searches contacts that are synced locally. It does not search Exchange over the air.
3 - The default main screen doesn't list all contacts - it only shows contacts as you start typing to search.
4 - It searches All Contacts, across all Groups.
