Dial Cats is for your K4 kids learning the relationship between the letters of the alphabet, the sounds they make and the formation of words, as well as multiple syllable words. And they will learn a little about the cat kingdom as well. This is a step above DialABC as it has words that range in length from 3 to 7 letters. Also perfect for ESL as well.

I will update and/or add pictures and/or audio and the software over the course of time so that this application offers value over a longer period of time.

Operating in one of three modes, your child can be:

1) automatically presented with pictures and the animated sounding out of the word with brief definition; or
2) presented with a picture for which the spelling is sought. With the correct spelling, the word is animated and sounded out as reinforcement; or
3) the child can just hunt for words in the dictionary and when found they will be presented with spelling and sound reinforcement.

This application takes a business like, mature approach to learning, but in a fun and interesting manner. The sounds are a male voice produced by a father of two.

FEATURES:

1 - randomly or alphabetically play dictionary

REQUIREMENTS:

Earphones on 1st generation iPod Touch in order to hear audio. New iPod Touch and iPhone have speakers.

ALSO, please be aware this is a very large application as it has a lot of images and audio. Consider using a high speed connection as your optimum download choice (probably iTunes to your desktop) and then synching to your iPhone or Touch.
