There are three ways in which you can make the birthday or anniversary information available to the application.
- Add a birthday or anniversary entry to the contact using the phone application on your device.
- Add a birthday or anniversary entry to the contact using Address Book/Contacts/Outlook on your computer.
- Create a new contact with a birthday or anniversary entry directly in Special Day application.

Special Day offers a very intuitive way of viewing birthdays and anniversaries on your device. Your birthday and anniversary entries are ordered first by month, then by the day of month, then by last name, and finally by first name.

You will be able to view the following birthday or anniversary related information of each entry
- What day of the week the person was born on or when the anniversary began.
- What day of the week is the person’s next birthday or anniversary?
- How old they currently are.
- How many days to the next birthday or anniversary.

You will also be able to change a person’s birthday or anniversary entry directly in the application.
